Managing Directors

Mr. King is a Managing Director based in New York. Mr. King has provided strategic and financial advice and execution on multi-billion dollar structured, project, cross-border and acquisition financings to clients in the power, utility, environmental and energy sectors for over 15 years. Mr. King has advised on or financed transactions for companies such as Royal Dutch Shell, International Power Plc, Edison Mission Energy, Duke Energy Corp. (NYSE: DUK), Exelon, Électricité de France, NRG Energy Inc. (NYSE: NRG), Reliant Energy Inc. (NYSE: RRI), Mirant Corp. (NYSE: MIR), Intergen, AES, El Paso Corp. (NYSE: EP), Columbia Natural Gas, Hydro Quebec and the Southern Company, raising more than $25 billion. Most recently, Mr. King was the Head of Energy and Utilities within the Capital Markets Group of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein ("DKW") in New York. Prior to DKW, Mr. King spent over ten years with Chase Securities and was Head of the Chase Global Project Debt Fund, LLC, a $3 billion fund he raised and managed to facilitate long-term, primarily fixed-rate investments in the power, oil & gas, chemical and environmental sectors.

Mr. King is active in the management of Bottlerock Power, LLC, ThermaSource, LLC, Newberry Geothermal Partners, LP and Oski Energy, LLC. Mr. King has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
